This course aims to give students an appreciation and understanding of issues in social, economic and political development in Third-world countries and how governments, international agencies and other types of organizations establish programs of social and economic development. Subjects studied include NGO Roles in Development, differences in cultures, Intercultural communications, history and goals of development projects, and development from a Christian perspective.
